Ron’s son transitioned into playing college basketball, while the other retired as a senior in high school due to injuries. Spring of 2018 was a transitional wave for both Coaches. Coach Eric was offered an Assistant Coach position at USC, and Coach Ron accepted a new Sales Mgr. position in Colorado. It was decided that Triple Threat – California needed to dissolve due to the significant life changes both where faced with and focus on their new chapters. Eric is now happily working as Assistant Coach, and Ron is happily living in the state with his family and working as a Sales Mgr. Both Coaches remain very close friends, along with their families.
In December of 2018, conversations began regarding resurrecting Triple Threat, which lead to the process and finalizing the registration of Triple Threat Colorado, Inc. with the State of Colorado as a non-profit organization. The launch of Triple Threat Colorado, Inc. is a very exciting chapter for Coach Ron and family. He looks forward to teaching youths in the area the fundamentals of the game, in addition, to building confidence, and character on /off the court.
